THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HOLISTIC GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING
Theme:
Harmony of Local Wisdom, Indigenous Spirit, and Multicultural Compassion.
Rapid social transformations driven by globalization, technological advances, and complex psychological issues have generated unprecedented challenges for contemporary Guidance and Counseling. Modern dilemmas ranging from mental health crises and value shifts to the demand for more inclusive services necessitate continuous innovation in the field. To address these modern complexities effectively, counseling services must transcend purely psychological approaches and incorporate crucial cultural, spiritual, and social dimensions, ensuring that professional practices remain humane, contextual, and culturally responsive to diverse communities.
In response to these evolving needs, the Islamic Educational Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Madura, proudly organizes The 1st International Conference on HOLISTIC Guidance and Counseling. This premier global scholarly gathering serves as a distinguished platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, school counselors, and students from various countries to disseminate research findings, exchange academic experiences, and formulate innovative approaches that advance both counseling theory and practice.
Ultimately, this international conference is expected to foster substantive academic discourse and reinforce the synergy among theory, research, and professional practice. By fostering global collaboration, the forum aims to make significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge and the enhancement of professional counseling practices at both national and international levels.
